Steve deserves most of the credit for hosting and creating the original 20th NYSM web site which went online in 1997. Because of his kindness and generosity, hundreds of people were assisted in searching for their ancestors.

Bob is the designer and webmaster of our new web site. He and I met in 1973 and have been kindred spirits ever since. We started Civil War re-enacting in a day when everything could not be purchased. We made many items from scratch with Bob copying original artifacts from my collection. He is a master of many successful crafts. However for me, his greatest achievement is in sharing his friendship as a gentleman, for I have been truly blessed by it.

Many thanks to my wife for all her typing, scanning photos, catching mistakes made by me and even a bit of editorializing. Your assistance and skills are greatly appreciated.

God has blessed me with a fine wife, superb friends and lots of luck. Whatever skills I may possess come from God. I have been very diligent in my 30 year study of the Ulster Guard and feel that I am part of a family of very special men, the 20th Regiment New York State Militia.
