Col. George Watson Pratt, 1st War Colonel, 20th NYSM. Mortally wounded at Battle of Second Bull Run, August 30, 1862, died Sept. 11, 1862, Albany NY. Buried in the Albany Rural Cemetery, Albany, NY.

Col. Theodore Burr Gates, 2nd War Colonel, 20th NYSM. Was present with the regiment through Gettysburg. Mustered out of service in 1864.

Col. Jacob Broadhead Hardenbergh, last war colonel, 20th NYSM. Brought the men home in 1866.

Corporal Charles Burgher, Co. H, 20th NYSM, wounded at Battle of Second Bull Run, August 30, 1862.

Pvt. Talmadge Warriner, Co. K, 20th NYSM, was in all battles with the regiment except Gettysburg. Discharged for disability at City Point Va. July 25, 1864.

Pvt. Amos Canine Treat, Co. D, 20th NYSM, killed in action July 1, 1863 at the Battle of Gettysburg.
