either a pre-war image or 90 day service image as he wears Ulster Guard
buttons on his coat. |

Major Walter A Van
Rensselaer, 20th NYSM. Wounded in action July 3, 1863, at Gettysburg. He
died from the effects of this wound in 1879 at Kingston, NY. |

Col. Geo.
Watson Pratt was mortally wounded on August 30, 1862 at the 2nd Battle
of Bull Run. |
